Crowns Coffee is community-driven. This means that each location, either a coffee shop or a mobile coffee bar, will be designed and tested to fit into the spirit of each neighborhood. 

The cafés are first of all spaces to explore local Robusta varieties and international varieties processed in innovative ways. Secondly, our coffee shops strive to be accessible and affordable, adapting to the large variety of neighborhoods in African contexts.

In 2025, the specialty coffee market was valued at more than USD 24 billion. This is expected to more than double by 2031, to a market size of above USD 57 billion (Deloitte).

With a small buy-in, local entrepreneurs get a flexible franchise package to build their coffee shops or mobile coffee bars. They then 'wear the Crown', serve amazing coffee in their neighborhood and ensure that retail profits stay in the countries of origin.
